Injury & Recovery
Thoughtful, injury-aware Pilates to support a steady return to movement.
Pilates for Injury & Recovery
Recovering from injury or managing ongoing discomfort can make movement feel uncertain. Pilates can offer a structured, supportive way to rebuild confidence in how your body moves.
Sessions are adapted to your current capacity, with the aim of restoring comfortable, efficient movement rather than pushing intensity.
How Pilates Can Support You
Work often focuses on gentle coordination, breath, and deep support for the spine and joints. Many clients find this approach helps them reconnect with stable, balanced movement patterns and reduce unnecessary tension. The emphasis is on quality of movement — how you move matters more than how much.
A Functional Approach
Pilates in this context isn’t about isolated exercises, but about supporting movements that carry into daily life: standing, walking, reaching, and lifting. The goal is to help your body move in a way that feels more supported and sustainable.
My work is informed by advanced training in injuries and pathologies, alongside a calm, somatic-informed teaching style. Sessions progress gradually, with attention to breath, coordination, and how your body responds from day to day.
Please note: Injury-focused work is offered in private 1:1 sessions to ensure appropriate support and individual care.
